today i had a customer come in and tell me this:
customer: "you look absolutely beautiful today.  just  plain beautiful.  and your hair is incredible, just beautiful.  it reminds me of an animal that lives in alaska.  i can't remember the name of it right now, but it is beautiful."
me: *blink, blink*  "why thank you."

one of my very favorite memories of my littlest sister meemers:::
i was sitting upstairs in my parents house, on the bed that i was sleeping in for this trip.  my dad came in and poured some water on me, being the jokester that he is.   then alivia came in to say hello, jumped on the bed and felt the water all over.  she quickly got off and looked at my dad with the most horrified face you could possibly imagine and said " hers peed everywhere, dad!"  ....  kids are the BEST.

i just scared the bejesus out of myself and holy cow my heart is pumping too many miles an hour.  i hope that it at least burned a few calories... makes a scare worth something.

also, i think it's a weird thing when you see the sun trying so hard to fight off the clouds and then the clouds win.  i wonder if they feel satisfied taking the sun out of my life? jerks.
while i'm at it.  i think it is really cruel when i am so excited to come home and eat my jalapeno pringles and a certain someone has decided to go and eat them all...everylastone.  why i oughta!!!!  
and one more... the over usage of the term "just sayin'" is really starting to bug me.  just sayin'
